Desensitize to a lot of things and exposed to many different things while being a buggy horse, not much bothers them. Some are famous winning harness racing horses that went onto being an Amish buggy horse after their racing careers ended. These horses are no longer useful for the daily hard work of pulling a buggy for the Amish. Don't let his age fool you he is in great shape. Has a lot of give and try and will make a great trail/ pleasure beginner friendly horse. Family type horse. Very easy to get along with. Tacked up and took a rider with ease. Did all that we asked of him. Fine with the mounting block.Good brakes He is pictures one two three and four. INDIGO: a beautiful dark bay 21 yr old 15.1 HH Gelding. Will make a great trail/weekend pleasure horse. Has a lot of give and try.Very sweet and loves to be groomed. Can get a little impatient while grooming when he's looking for his friends, but nothing horrible. Fine for the mounting block and tacked up like a dream. Accepted a rider with ease. Soft in the mouth and prefers a looser bridle. May be happier with a bitless or hackamore. Good brakes. Did wonderful for his evaluation. Sensitive with too much leg pressure, lite with pressure is best with him. He has been sitting for a while and just needs some more saddle time and trail miles. Brave with all we asked him to do. Did great with field and road riding. Improved and very willing to please after only 5 minutes with a rider on his back. This guy is super sweet and a love bug. Can't say enough nice things about this boy. Very quiet and LOVES to be groomed and loves people. A quiet boy on the slower side but perfect for the beginner horse person or a great kids prospect horse. Stood for mount and dismount and was not bothered by mounting block. Tacked up nicely and took a rider with ease. A true gentle soul with tons of heart. Good brakes and a slower paced easy going guy. He is pictures nine ten eleven and twelve. SPREWELL: A thick chunky solid built guy. 15.1 1/2 HH dark bay 19 yr old gelding. Very friendly. I would recommend an advanced beginner or an intermediate rider. He is very good under saddle but can push and just needs a confident assertive person. He's very smart and will test to see if his rider is a whimp or not. Once he knows no pushing the rider he goes right to work Otherwise he will take advantage of a novice rider.He will talk to his friends when out by himself but nothing horrible. He needs a job and would make a great trail/weekend pleasure horse. Did very good for his evaluation. tacked up great and took a rider with ease along with being fine with the mounting block. This boy gives 110% of himself once he knows you're going to be kind to him. A bit standoffish at first but changes quickly with consistency and love. He tries to please and gives his all. Was very good for his evaluation. Tacked up perfect. Stood for mount and dismount. Fine with mounting block. Good brakes A sweet boy that want's to bond with his own human. Did all that was asked of him. He has a cloudy eye but it does not hamper his ability to do anything. He is pictures nineteen twenty twentyone twentytwo PRINCE N LOUP: 16.1 HH big bodied bay gelding. 16 yrs old. He will do best with an intermediate horse person. Tacks up perfect. Stands for mount and dismount. Fine for mounting block. Great in any new environment. This boy enjoys the trails and is an enjoyable ride. He does a bit better as long as he is with his friend. He can get a tiny smidge bit buddy sour when going out alone but nothing horrible. Just concerned with being able to see his friend. The farther away he gets from the barn the better he is. When riding with another horse this guy is a fun, brave and bold trail horse. A very nice boy and has wonderful manners. Fine for road riding and in not phased by busy traffic at all. He can be dominant over a new horse at first and will be bossy with another new horse. Once pecking order is established he gets along fine with other horses.
