1989 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia camper van up for sale. Automatic transmission. Around 113k miles. We've owned it since 2016 after buying in Arizona. Always been garage kept. Not used in the winter. Runs, drives, and stops excellently. No leaks. Clean undercarriage! Regular maintenance done along with more major repairs listed below. Van just got a wax, new battery, engine oil change, air filter, spark plugs, cap and rotor, steering rack bushings, alignment and propane tank filled. Propane stove works great. Has a propane heater under rear seat with thermostat. Really nice to have when sleeping somewhere cold. Propane stove works great. Sink drains to the ground. Has a deep cycle aux battery that gets charged while driving, but won't discharge the main van battery when parked. 110 watt solar panels. The 900 watt inverter draws on aux battery. Van can be connected to shore power. and the two 110v outlets will work. Quality 15 inch aluminum rims instead of original 14. Van has been lifted by 1". Front and rear heat works great. Van comes with solar panels, yakima roof rack topper, black front bra, original tables and trans-awn 2000 awning. (See last photo, not currently mounted.) In 2015 the previous owner had new cylinder heads, pistons, cylinders, oil cooler, thermostat, thermostat flange replaced. We have receipts, but no mileage listed on ticket. 2016 85276 miles: injector seals/fuel return hose, fuel tank re seal kit rubber, Stainless steel coolant tower, new stainless steel coolant pipes, new radiator, upper lower coolant hose, aluminum coolant expansion tank, front and rear brake hoses, speedometer cable, front radius bushings, propex hs2000 heater unit installed, New 15x7 alloy wheels. 2017 94,951 miles: Added vano-hitch trailer hitch, Go Westy Aux battery kit with fuse panel and relay, 900 watt inverter, pop top lift cylinders, Front and rear coil springs, front and rear shock absorbers, Air horn, Go Westy yakima roof rack topper, marine battery charger, Go Westy Transmission oil cooler kit installed 2018: New canvas for pop top, Front brake rotors, calipers, brake pads, rear brakes, New radio 2019 105,940 miles: 1" rear spring spacers, oxygen sensor, Go Westy solar power 110 watt ultra compact solar panel kit 2020: Front blower motor and resistor, Few small issues to be aware of: Small exhaust leak after the catalytic converter. You can hear it outside the car. Still fairly quiet. Paint has small chips and dings. Photos show show the van isn't perfect. Speedo cable makes noise every once in awhile. Guess time for a new one. Cruise control hasn't reliably been working. No A/c. The compressor doesn't have a belt on it. Pulley and compressor turn over easy. Since purchase in 2016, we have never looked into it. Small dent on sliding door, towards rear of door.
