1950's Caterpillar D4 dozer

1950's era Caterpillar D4 bulldozer, 4 way blade with only 2,767 original hours. This has the pony gas motor to start, then starts the diesel. It has another set of full tracks as well. This is non-running but it ran great when it was parked in 2009. Unfortunately, it was not continued to be used and has sat. There have not been any parts removed and from the basics, it appears it should run again with the standard attention it needs to run again. The serial number is 5T5250. From my understanding, this would make it around 1950 when built. It appears this is a 9-10k weight machine but it will need to be winched onto a trailer. Should be a great project for someone. I have a newer dozer, so I don't have the time nor knowledge to get it running again. But I did have a Cat mechanic look at it and he said it is a good one. This is on my mountain property, so I'll need to schedule a viewing. My price is $4,000 OBO as I know the value in scrap if no one buys it. But I'd hate to see it go that direction since it should run again. Call or text at the number listed.
