VINTAGE 1974 BELL & HOWELL 8MM MOVIE PROJECTOR

This 1974 Bell & Howell Compatible Movie Projector, Model 1620, was designed for both regular 8 and super 8 home-movie film. The motor and lamp work fine, but the film doesn’t feed through. The projector is complete, including its original box and packing material, take-up reel, operating manual and assorted other paperwork. The purchaser identification card is dated March 1975. The copyright date – printed only on the bottom of the manual’s front cover – is 1974. The front cover of the manual has insect damage, and page 2 is loose. But all other pages are intact and all information and photos are perfectly legible. Aside from the feed mechanism, the 50-year-old machine with all-metal case is in excellent condition. $65 cash.
