1860 HANDMADE FULL SIZE CANOPY BED, EXC COND.

This is GORGEOUS AND ONE OF A KIND full size canopy bed. This was made in 1860. The 4 posts and connecting rails are Douglas Fir. Each post is one tree and is one solid piece of wood. The headboard is one slab of yellow pine. This is heavy and sturdy. It is held together with 8 bolts. The canopy is custom made and fits to a T. It is held on with tacks. It needs a slight adjustment for permanency. We did not adjust to 1/8" of an inch for pictures. Outside bottom rails are 60" wide. Posts are 79"tall. Outside length is 84". Inside measurement for mattress: 76". Rails are 23" high. Floor to mattress bracket: 17" high. We are in Sanford and can transport to your home for a fee. This does not include set-up.
