1965 Chris-Craft Constellation Galley Dish Holder ? Wood

This is out of a 1965 Chris-Craft Constellation. I was told it's out of the galley and is a dish holder?. It measures 20.5 (length) x 18 (tall) x 10 (wide). It can use a sanding and a refinish. I'm not sure of the wood - Maybe Mahogany? I thought they used that in some of the older ones but I'm not certain. Needs a dusting on the inside a well. I'm in West Irondequoit by the lake.
