Garfield NJ Cemetery Plot for Two

The family is selling a plot with two graves in the Saint Peter's Greek Catholic Cemetery in Garfield, NJ. The plot can hold two people total; two people can be buried here, one on top of the other. See photos for where the plot is located. The cemetery is located just off of Route 21 and Route 46 in Garfield, NJ. Also, close to NYC, Clifton, NJ, Wallington, NJ, Nutley, NJ, and Passaic, NJ. These graves currently sell today for $3,000. We are asking $1000 total. This is a midsize, older cemetery. There is a company that handles the cemetery and will do the title transfer through the mail. There is no mandatory maintenance or preservation transfer taxes or fees here. As the owner of the plot, we would meet with you to sign and notarize a letter of intent to transfer the deed of the plot to you. The notarized letter and the current deed would be sent to the company that handles the cemetery. The company would then mail you a new deed with your name on it. While it is an older cemetery, people are still being buried here. There are new interments visible in the cemetery. People are free to put small decorative rocks, fences, flowers, etc. Ground-breaking/grave-opening to our knowledge should be handled through your funeral home, not the cemetery itself. Cash only.
