Honda CL125S 1974

Yes this collectable Honda CL125S is fifty years old. It is in excellent shape with three cosmetic flaws. Some rust on the chain guard, tiny ding on the tank and grey duct tape on the right front fork dust cover (replacement dust overs included). The left sidecover is off from battery charging. My oversight. It runs very well. KICK START. The six volt electrical system is marginal but it works. Might need a new battery soon. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LEARNER, WEEKEND RIDER OR A SHORT COMMUTER THIS IS NOT REALLY RECOMMENDED. It will do all that but you can do better. Now if you are a collector you need to see this bike. Pretty. Clean. Good chrome mostly. Original except for the improved locking gas cap. Seat is good, Suspension solid. No leaks. Runs smooth. Sounds good. Well cared for. THE MILEAGE OF 5495 IS CORRECT. Now 5515. You will see in the last photo that we (my wife) has two of these bikes. They get lots of attention. (the other one has 4080 miles) She says after twenty years of caring for both, one motorcycle is enough for her to keep. I have suggested a price of $2200 which is a lot for a small old motorcycle. But baseball cards go for many times that. Go figure. You can decide what it is worth to you. We also have a 1973 CL125 "parts bike" that is 90% complete and very restorable. Make offer on a package..
