Bluebird Houses – Peterson Design

My houses are built on the Peterson Design with a slanted front. This design makes predator access harder and, with its smaller nest cavity, makes the bird’s work of nestbuilding a bit faster and easier. These houses are made from White Pine lumber and assembled with brads and waterproof glue. Roofs are attached with pocket screws so there is no penetration from the top. They are finished with exterior stain for increased life outdoors. Interiors are unfinished. Fronts hinge forward for easy cleaning.
