2015 Gibson J45 True Vintage

A beautiful 2015 Gibson J45TV for your consideration. These are different from the Standard J45 in a number of ways, including pre VTS Red Spruce/Adirondack top, a thinner VOS nitrocellulose finish that allows the guitar to vibrate more freely and hide glue construction of the neck joint and braces. This guitar is light at a little over 4 lbs. The entire thing vibrates against your chest when playing. It has that timeless mid-focused, compressed and dry J45 tone that so many players find perfect to sing over. I upgraded the pickguard with a Holter Guard and swapped out the cheap repro strip tuners for Waverly's. The bridge has been slotted and solid bone pins from Bob Collosi have been added. This includes the California Girl OHSC in tan w/pink interior. Only reason for sale is to cover a more recent purchase, and I now have too many guitars, so this one goes.
