1985 Jeep CJ7

1985 CJ7, 4x4, I-6 258 (4.2L) engine, T-19 4 speed transmission and Dana 300 transfer case. It has had a complete frame up restoration. It has a custom paint job with the underside and the inside of the bucket having a spray on bed liner applied for protection. The engine was commercially rebuilt from the bottom up. It has an oversized cam, new alternator, starter and new Howell throttle body fuel injection with electric fuel pump and new computer with new wiring. There are new frame mount bushings throughout and new motor mounts. New water pump and belts and new exhaust from front to back. The transmission is a remanufactured T-19 4speed with a 5-1 low gear ratio purchased from Novak Conversions. A new clutch assembly was installed as part of the transmission conversion kit for mounting to a 4.2L 258 engine and adapter for the Dana 300 transfer case. As part of the conversion a twin stick shifter for the Dana 300 transfer case was installed. It has a new brake master cylinder with new front brakes. New front locking hub assemblies and wheel bearings were installed as well. A few years back the springs were replaced and a minor shackle lift was added. It has 5 nearly new 30x9.5x15 BFG All Terrain TA KO2 tires. It has a locking center counsel and locking glove box. The Bestop soft top is in great shape. I also have a bikini top for summer use. There are approximately 1200 miles on it since the restoration. Asking $21,000.00.
