Description:

1995 Dodge Ram 3500 Hemi High Top Van with rear accessible wheelchair entrance. This van was left to me in an inheritance as I have converted a couple vans in the past to campers and was thought that would be nice if left to me. This one would be a little more work than I care to convert, although with the extended high top it would make a good RV if the work was put in. Would also make a great work van or concession type with the room. Please note I would trade for a smaller car, truck or van of aprrox. the same value. The van has some goods and some not so goods. *It runs. It was delivered and driven to me from the Southern Pines area. I have had it about 7 months now and have only driven it around my neighborhood a couple of times. Been sitting the rest of the time but I charged battery and it started right up. *Very high mileage. Over 300,000. That's a lot but was used by First Health of the Carolina's as a patient transfer bus for some years and was highly maintained as required. At one point I saw a stack of maintenance papers pertaining to the van but cannot locate them now. It seemed to have been taken care of well at the time. *The rear wheelchair lift was working initially but now will not operate correctly. I'm told it's a hydraulic leak that could be easily fixed but my plan was to remove the large heavy addition anyway. *The height is about 6'2" and it has the emergency hatch. *Central a/c unit blows fine but could use some Freon. Just slightly cool. *The van was left to me by my father who passed away last Feb. I have the title in hand. He and I have same first and last name but when trying to transfer, DMV said power of attorney was no longer available and I would have to get a notary seal on it. Makes no sense but I think I have a notary who is available and knows the situation. Otherwise I will sign over receipt and a bonded title will have to be taken for a year. No problem, just a typical DMV pain in the ass and $100 extra. *I'm not desperate to sell. It would actually make a great camper but my renovation days are over! I'll let anyone interested know of any pros and cons of the van and it has some of each. I'll be honest in what I know or have been told of the van but cannot guarantee anything. *I am willing to take offers but will not give it away. I'm also willing to trade for a small A to B car or van or something else of equal value. *Just weighing out options. Peace and Love!
