1969 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 V-8 Coupe

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 V-8 Coupe DGC8875 VIN. 136379Z308875 This is a special car that's had a lot of money spent on it. Starting with a small block Chevrolet engine and stroking it to 396 in. engine. They changed out a 350 turbo automatic transmission for a 700 R 4 overdrive transmission. Has four-wheel power disc brakes. Power steering. Has Vintage Air. Has one of maybe the best sound systems I've heard. I cranked it up and it wasn't distorting at all. It was great. Everything works including the back up lights. I love those cast 17 inch wheels, they're beautiful. When I first looked at this car I would've told you it was silver with black stripes. But it's not. It's gray, a beautiful gray and has a tinge of rose. Color only comes out in the right light. Don't know how else to describe it. This car was so well done so well put together. I believe you'll be hard-pressed to find a better restoration quality of work. Everywhere you look the interior the exterior the underside engine compartment. It's just very well done. I'm not sure quite how to put it in words. Everything has been well thought out little things. Make a point of really studying the engine compartment. I really like the looks of those cast valve covers. In the process of going through this car getting it ready to sell it was not running like we thought it should. So when Mike was doing the service and safety, check, he dug into it and told us we should take the fuel injection system off of it and and install a new Brawler carburetor system. Now it runs how we want it to run. I love the LED headlight system.
