Portable Spring Loaded Grizzly for Mini and Compact Equipment

New for 2024 is our DeSite Spring Loaded Static Grizzly’s for both compact and sub compact equipment. Designed for compact equipment, our spring loaded suspension designs are much more efficient than the old industry standard grizzly’s using bars or tubes. Our system creates a more uniform product and does not have the issues of rocks getting stuck between the bars We offer our grizzly screeners with woven mesh that side tensions over our crown screen decks. Our side tensioning system pre stresses the woven wire making the mesh more impact resistant to falling debris. We only use hardened 65mn wire and a double lock crimp system when weaving to lock each wire as one crosses the other. This tis the same style and quality of mesh you will find on the big expensive screeners Unique to our DeSite Grizzly design you can see that our screen decks are spring loaded. This allows the operator the ability to manipulate deck slope during the screening process. The ability to change the deck angle while screening gives the operator ultimate control over the speed of flow over the screendeck. We offer our Grizzly screeners in two model sizes : Our most compact model is our SLG 48 for Sub Compact Mini Equipment. This screener weighs in at 800lbs, and comes with removable wheels and a quick disconnect hitch that stows inside the screener. The screendeck is 55 inches wide and works with buckets up to 48 inches wide. The deck is 66 inches long and sit on two C springs that allow the screendeck slope to be manipulated from 45 degrees back to 30 degrees during the screening process. The SLG 48 can be fitted with a wide range of meshes from 1/8 inch opening for fine sand, going up to 4 inches for heavy materials. Mesh change out time is only 10 minutes. Our SLG 78 Grizzly has been designed to work both on and off our Riser Box to compliment whichever size of equipment being used to feed the screener. The SLG 78 is also a Spring Loaded Grizzly with the ability to change deck slope while screening to match screening conditions. When up on the screendeck the SLG 78 can be fed with bucket up to 82 inches wide. Off the Riser Box bucket width is limited to 78 inches Just like all screeners that DeSite manufactures, the mesh of the 78 is also side tensioned over a crowned screen deck to pre stress the double lock crimp woven wire for impact resistance. We offer the DeSite SLG 78 in four mesh sizes depending upon the size of product that you are wanting to create. 2” x 2” / 3” x 3” / 4” x 4” / 6” x 6” The SLG 78 works well and compliments our SLG 78VFRB Vibratory Screeners. Pre screening with the SLG 78 Grizzly allows the operator to remove the oversize, leaving you with a pre screened product ready to be fed into the SLG 78VFRB therefore making two more product sizes.
