Registered Highland Cow and Heifer

REGISTERED Highland Cow and Heifer, sold together with their paperwork. Mother and Daughter; Cow and Heifer. I’d have to double check age on their paperwork when I pull pedigree. I misplaced and need to replace their physical registration paperwork but they ARE registered with the American Highland Cattle Association, which can then be transferred to new owner. Had planned to hold on to these girls and breed this year, as they are the highest quality cattle we’ve had thus far. However, our fencing is old/brittle and in-process of being replaced. We are only retaining a few cattle during this process. I’d rather see these girls happy and rehomed than stuck in coral panel pens while we stretch fence.. These girls will only be available for sale until our fencing project on the larger pasture is completed, then we will be retaining them. We may have them bred in the meantime, if bred price will go up. These girls are best suited to someone who has ample space/pasture. They will not be happy on a small lot or corrals and will test your fencing to leave. They are pasture animals through and through. At least 20-40 acres is recommended. They are use to 40 and 80 acre pasture rotations here. They are not what I would call friendly or in your pocket like most people picture with highlands. They are typical cattle and are happiest on pasture as a pair or with other cattle. They will come up for treats and do hang out around the house and humans when napping or exploring but don't want humans hanging all over them. They are absolutely gorgeous and have amazing conformation and horns..they should turn out amazing calves at top dollar for whomever has them. Highlands live and breed well into their 20's unlike most cattle breeds. Recoup your investment within 1-2 calving seasons. It is hard to find *Registered* female highlands for sale… REASONABLE offers will be considered, appointments to see them for SERIOUS buyers only.
