Tonight we are listing for sale another item from my Grandfathers estate, and what we have here is a RARE & ORIGINAL 1939 HOME SAMPLE BOX OF GOLD DUST WASHING POWDER ( otherwise known as soap)........THIS BOX MEASURES 2 1'2" TALL X 1 3/4" WIDE AND IS COMPLETELY FULL AND NEVER BEEN OPENED....... THE SOAP WAS MANUFACTURED BY THE FAIRBANKS CO. WHICH WAS A DIVISION OF LEVER BROS, AND THE BOX CLEARLY SHOWS THE GRAPHICS OF 2 BLACK KIDS CLEANING HOUSE....... THERE ARE PRINTED DIRECTIONS ON THE REAR AND SIDE OF THE BOX , AS WELL " AS FREE HOME SAMPLE " AND 1939........THIS PIECE WOULD LOOK GREAT IN ANY ART DECO OR VICTORIAN SETTING.......
