BLACK SHEEP MINING TROMMEL with Pump - Gold Prospecting

This "BLACK SHEEP MINING TROMMEL" was originally set-up as a hand crank, but has since been modified to operate on a 12 VOLT DC, variable speed motor. The exceptional feature about using a Trommel, is, your pay dirt, gravel, and rocks, does not have to be classified down, to get rid of bigger material, it can go straight into the hopper, and on down into the Trommel, as the Trommel begins to rotate, the pay-dirt, or material begins to move through the turning cylinder, then water spray bars come on, washing the inserted pay material, especially lifting gold, that may be sticking to the rocks. As the material reaches the pre-drilled holes in the trommel, the dirt, gravel, and especially the gold, begins to fall down through those holes and down into your sluice, the bigger, oversized material continues on through the trommel, and out on the ground. As a precaution, I always run my metal detector over the discarded material, just in case, a 1 ounce nugget may have slipped through.
