1958 Studebaker Silver Hawk Model 58H

1958 Studebaker Silver Hawk Model 58H. Factory Paint Code P 5820 Parchment White. 289 V8 with Flight-O-Matic Automatic Transmission. Have build sheet from Studebaker. Built date 10-16-1957 and final assembly 10-21-57. Factory order number 24096. Last owner had the car for 35 years and bought it from the wife of a USAF man. Both owners lived in Dallas, Texas so it is a Texas Car. Odometer shows 72,386 miles (but not documented). Paint and interior are older but still nice. It has had alot of maintenance and things done to it in the last 35 years including : Recent all new brakes including master cylinder and 4 wheel cylinders, Valves ground and reseated, new water pump, WWW Tires, new mufflers and dual exhaust pipes, rebuilt carburetor, new wiring harness, nice interior and headliner, new trunk carpet and spare tire cover, replaced windshield and new rubber around windshield and rear glass. Just put on a new Bosch 12V battery. All gauges, odometer and speedometer work, all windows roll up and down, horn works, all lights and blinkers work, etc. This car runs and drives great. No A/C and No Power Steering. On 5-24-2024 I added a brand new Generator, coil wire and new plugs wires and she is now ready to roll !!! This car has been very well maintained by previous owner who bought it when he was 50 years old and kept it until he was 85 years old, and sold it because he wasn't physically able to care for it any longer. I love these Orphan Cars and have owned a Packard, Hudson, Nash, AMC and several other antique and classic cars in my 65 years.
