**********CASH ONLY********** This terrific vintage mahogany Duncan Phyfe style convertible table is terrific for smaller spaces! For those who need a console table for day-to-day that can be made larger for special occasions, or those looking for a larger table for day-to-day use but might occasionally need to fold it away for some extra space. Either way, this table has you covered and that is exactly why we wanted it to have a special customized finish in either orientation--a piece that speaks for your love of your home. We love the French Provincial style scalloped edges and the curved legs that add just the right sophisticated feminine flare to this piece that is light and airy enough to be at home in any modern space. We have given the entire piece a 2-tone stain finish, a mix of natural mahogany and darker brown accents on the beautiful solid mahogany pedestal and legs, plus the geometric patterning that says stop and sit for a spell and admire the wood grain of the mahogany veneer on the tabletop that is truly stunning. Entire table has a hand-rubbed oil finish that accentuates the wood grains and tones--COASTERS ARE A MUST! Always SPIN THE TOP BEFORE OPENING hinged leaf. Storage space in base for decks of cards and pads of paper, coasters, or cigars, etc. OF NOTE: In the last picture of the tabletop at full size you can see in the bottom right there is about a three-inch long crack in the veneer that runs from a hairline and widens to a 3/16 inch gap in the veneer. This bit of its history cannot be erased but the surface is secure, smooth, and has been stained and finished. Also, the picture of the back side of the table in its folded orientation shows several hinge screws were replaced somewhere along the way and there is an old putty spot on the right side of the back apron.
