Limited edition print by Richard Evans Younger (1928-2008). Younger was considered a master wildlife artist of the 1960s and 70s, and painted over 2,000 species of fish, birds, and other animals. He illustrated for sporting magazines such as Outdoor Life and Sports Afield, as well as for Audubon. Originally from Sedalia, Missouri, he attended Missouri Valley College and earned a Fine Arts degree from Kansas City Art Institute. His family wintered in Ft. Myers, FL. and spent summers in Blowing Rock, N.C. The print you see here is extremely rare, and numbered 928/1000. signed and dated 1978.
