50 cm Cinelli track/fixed gear bike

This steel bicycle and the wheels were hand built in 2002 by a bike shop catering to pros. I used it for track racing on a velodrome, but it would work as a fixie on the road, too. I haven’t used it since 2007 and it’s been in storage since then. It was tuned up in 2007 by Dean at Fixed Gear Fever in Portland and was considered in optimal condition at that time. This frame was notorious for soft paint, and it has thus has a lot of chips on it, some of which are pictured. A few chips go down to the steel, and these would need to be re-painted to prevent the frame from rusting if you are going to be using it in wet conditions. Speedplay Zero pedals are not included, but I would be willing to sell them along with their used cleats if you are interested. Selle Italia saddle in fair to good shape. Sugino 75 crank arms, 165 mm length currently with Sugino 75 - 49 tooth front chain ring. Rear wheel with flip-flop hub- currently has 15 tooth Suntour cog on non drive side and a Dura Ace 16 tooth cog on the drive side. I have a full track bike gear bag and can possibly adjust size of the front chain ring and rear cog to suit your desire. Suzie Pro Max front and rear hubs A few of the front spokes have been bent and the front wheel is slightly out of true. Sew up/Tubular tires- Continental Giro tires, 22 mm width. In good condition, tread has life left. Tires were re-glued around 2007, but need to be reglued for safety’s sake. 130 mm quill stem (very long, you may want to replace it to something shorter). Handlebar grips are functional, but have a tear in the left one, as noted in a picture. This rear drop outs can be a bit finicky with maintaining optimal chain tension, so if you are going to be changing the rear cog out, you should know that it can be a bit tricky to re-tighten optimally, but it certainly is doable, since I did it frequently during my track racing! Bicycle is sold in as-is condition.
