ALL SANY EXCAVATORS COME WITH A 5 YEAR, 5000 HOUR WARRANTY FAQ’s 1. What does the warranty cover? A. Generally, the machine is covered concerning manufacturers defects. Attachments carry a 1-year warranty. Batteries have a 1-year warranty and tracks, and glass are usually NOT covered. A common rule of thumb is “you’ll know if you broke it and that won’t be covered.” Sany does cover travel up to 150 miles one way for a round trip of 300 miles. Equipment NW requires a travel deposit to respond to warranty claims in the field and refunds the balance of 300 miles or under upon warranty approval. 2. What is the hydraulic flow of this machine? (for running attachments). A. The SY26 has an operating flow of 19 Gallons per minute and an auxiliary flow of 11 gallons per minute. Auxiliary is used for running attachments. 3. What does this require to run an attachment? A. There are 2 options that we use most commonly: the first at $1,300.00 is to put a diverter or 3-way valve on the stick that diverts flow from the thumb to the attachment with the turn of a wrench, no need to uncouple the thumb and it is held in the upward position (hydro-locked) when the flow is diverted. You will need to turn on the flow every once in a while, to tighten it up. With the flow diverted to a second quick-connect you plug the attachment into the second connect and perform operation with the same roll switch used for thumb operation. The second option at $700.00 is to put a quick connect on the thumb and disconnect the thumb when you need to use an attachment. The thumb will need to be strapped or chained in the up position during the use of the attachment to keep it from drifting downward. There is a third option of running a complete, second hydraulic circuit out the boom and stick from the valve body on the interior of the machine. This is time-consuming and expensive and most of our customers who are not full-time machine users do not elect the expense of this operation. 4. What are the service intervals? A. There is an oil change and oil sample required at 50 hours. After the initial oil change there is a full service and samples of the oil, hydraulic fluid, and final drives at 250 hours, 500 hours and every 250 hours after…750, 1000, 1250, etc. Equipment NW also employs two outside service trucks and performs warranty, repairs and service in the field when requested. 5. Are parts readily available? A. Yes. We have a fully stocked parts room for the commonly affected and wear parts including many ancillary parts like teeth, chains, binders, and other attachment pieces. Sany has a main Parts Distribution Center located in Peachtree, GO that is fully stocked and performed to an over 90% fulfillment rate even through the lean Covid years. We have always had machines and parts. 6. Is the blade adjustable? A. Sany machines come standard with a two-way blade, up and down, and Sany itself does not offer another option for this. However, Equipment NW does offer a blade float option; An accessory that allows the blade on the machine to float over gravel or dirt without the operator having to continuously control the blade handle. This is used primarily in the leveling or grading of: 1. Sidewalks 2. Driveways 3. Lots 4. Yards 5. Trails. This and other kits are available on our website, equipmentnw.com, under PARTS – Excavator Upgrade Parts Kits., and can be purchased separately or installed in our shop. Check for pricing.
