Around here, it not the weight of the cargo that bends axles, it's the roads. Most of our customers run these on dirt roads. You hit a bump and that trailer can go airborne (even just slightly) and land cockeyed. It can happed on concrete too. When an axle bends the tire will start to prematurely wear on only one side of the tire. We have found that the larger 5,200lb axle really helps preventing bent axles. Plus, you get a heavier duty wheel, larger tire, heavier leaf springs and heavier bearings. All prices are out the door. In NE you pay your sales tax at your local DMV. Not at the dealership.
