Kawai Baby Grand Piano

Kawai 5'2" Baby Grand Piano in nearly new condition. Built in Japan in 1978. Model KG-1C, serial # 1054624 Custom Artist Bench is included. Before 1990 Kawai made three series of grand pianos: GE/GM, KG and GS (Concert Grand). The GE/GM was the least expensive series and was called the Musicians Series. The KG Series was by far the most popular. The KG-1 was called the Baby Grand, The GE series are designed more for efficiency in manufacturing, with fewer refinements. The KG series piano system makes for a more rigid structure, which translates into better tone projection.
