Homestead multipurpose pigs Mangalista for marbling and clean usable lard. Boar hit #450 at 1 1/2yrs old. IPP/Berkshire sow for bacon/belly and loin length and meat quality. Hampshire sow for mothering instinct, personality and meat quality. Sow #1 Oreo Hampshire Litter born 2/22, Oreo delivered 11 happy healthy piglets without assistance. Oreo is my favorite sow, an excellent mother and wonderful to handle, farrowed easily and without assistance. Her babies are always good tempered and grow well. 3 gilts and 5 barrows available (grey/blonde & black) Sow #2 Locket IPP/Berkshire cross Litter born 2/9, Locket delivered 9 happy healthy piglets without assistance. She is a first time momma but has proven to be an excellent one, even accepting 2 fosters and has kept her litter well fed. Her piglets are easy to handle. (2 barrow, 2 gilts all ginger/blonde still available) Sow #3 Blondie Mangalista Litter born 2/9 12 born without assistance. Sow is a little standoffish but her babies have been very food motivated and are growing well. (1 barrow and 2 gilts available) Located near St Maries ID, will consider trades.
