1962 Corvair Monza Convertible

This car comes with rebuilt carbs, all new ignition wires, plugs, cap, rotor and mechanical fuel pump. This car comes also with a new gas tank, sender unit and electric fuel pump which are not installed. The tires are old but hold air. The seats are usable with a few cracks on the driver’s seat. The Corvair has a decent non cracked dash and a good nice tinted windshield. The motor has compression issues and does not run. When I did have it running on jack stands the Powerglide trans turned the wheels forward and reverse. The convertible top is stained with a small tear above the driver window. The zip in rear window is also missing. The car comes with all four original hubcaps. The Corvair was repainted a long time ago. The floor boards do have rust so buyer beware. New floor boards are available from Clark’s. Included are a repair manual and Clark’s parts catalog.72
