Original Family Ownership – Vintage, Handmade, Mahogany, 4 Poster, Full/Double Bed by Charak Furniture Company (Boston, MA), Piece # 676 (1941), new Serta mattress, custom-made box spring and metal bed frame. CONDITION: EXCELLENT. The Charak bed has been completely refinished to match its original, dark brown finish (see photographs). The attractive hand carved, solid mahogany reeded posts, solid square legs and finials accentuate the beautiful, traditional and timeless construction of the bed. Purchased in 1941 from A.H. Stiehl Furniture Company, 28 West 20th Street, NYC.
